Smart distributors who run successful small businesses have a lot to contribute to elevate the industry. Sharing their knowledge is not only a way to give back, but also become thought leaders in the industry. PRISM’s purpose is to provide a space to do just that. As the editor, it is an honor to have Rama Beerfas as a contributor writer. She was inducted to the PPAI Fellows at the 2017 PPAI Expo, a very well-deserved recognition. 
 
The PPAI Fellows is a program that recognizes those who have actively supported the industry. PPAI relies upon volunteers for important programs such as continuing education, mentorship, and lobbying support for legislation that affects the industry.
 
Rama has been generously sharing her business experience in the Education Sessions at PPAI, including 2017, where she addressed the topic of dealing with difficult clients.
